J-KEY, co-founder of GrooveWell Collective, is known for his uplifting high energy dynamic setst that keep the audience present and engaged. He crafts DJ sets that feel like sonic adventures- infused with energy, soul and global flavor.
His sound is influenced by rock classics, psychedelic rock and older international grooves from Africa and South America.
He plays a blend from radically infused global house-infused banger to deep eclecti psychedelic disco grooves. He is also versatile enough to cater to a wedding crowd, with his intuition to give the crowd just what they want.
As a young raver in Melbourne's early techno scene of the late 80's, Tamer has had a long association with electronic music, eventually founding the legendary Honkytonks nightclub in the early 2000's. His passion for the music genre and his history within the culture have afforded him a very eclectic DJ'ing style.
Tamer predominantly plays house and techno in all its forms, with a classic edit slipped in here and there, however he plays at any time of the day with a broad music collection that covers all genres. As an avid Burner, Tamer draws much inspiration from the incredible artists performing there each year.
He currently resides in California's Napa Valley with his wife Blaire, where he hosts the successful party series Salty Sundays, popping up in epic locations in and around the valley.
